Outstanding Proposal
Gillian was truly a blessing to have on my side as I prepared to propose to my girlfriend. I contacted her with an unusual request of putting on a 'fake off-Broadway show'. Not only did she not shy away from the challenge, but she was engaged and proactive in keeping my best interests in mind while putting on the best performance. She sourced the actors, planned the entire performance (even down to writing the music), held dress rehearsals and keep constant communication throughout the entire process. I am not an artistically inclined person; Gillian was the expert I needed to make my special day a reality. She tailored the performance to be exactly what I needed while maintaining a certain flair only theater professionals can produce. The performance had no hiccups, no moments of uncertainty and no stress leading into the event. If I did not hire Gillian, the day would not nearly been as spectacular as it was. My fiancée and I are eternally grateful and extremely fortunate to have found Gillian for this event. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

Wedding Ceremony - Perfect Addition
Due to all the changes that go along with planning a wedding during covid, I asked Gillian to be apart of our wedding day ceremony with less than ideal planning. Ms. Berkowitz was engaged to play for the launch party of a new opera company in New York City. I could not have been more pleased with her performance. The Whitetail Trio was formed when pianist and Music Director Gillian Berkowitz, guitarist Jim Robitaille, and bassist Rod McCaulley met during a summer on Cape Cod performing in the World Premiere of the musical Unexpected Joy by Broadway’s Bill Russell and Janet Hood. Connected by their passion for music, the group soon began playing together and exploring their sound.
Solo and duo instrumentation also offered.

The members of both groups have played with symphony orchestras, in concert halls, on Broadway, in solo and chamber concerts, and with notables from the classical, Broadway, and jazz community worldwide.
Both the Whitetail Trio and City Swing Trio's vast repertoire includes American songbook, chamber and classical, as well as pop/top 40, and Brazilian standards.
